Threads - where's it headed?

I'm finding it difficult to find current reliable data on the use of Threads by businesses in the UK.

Is Threads a good place to invest resource to build brand engagement?

It apparently achieved 100m users within a week of launch in July 2023 (probably labelled users because they downloaded it and used it once in the first week), but what happened then?

The early numbers (week 1) suggested a daily user volume of around 40m which fell to 20m after week 2.

Around 20% of these were from the UK, so the latest I have is that daily user volume in the UK was around 4m a year ago.

But what happened then?
