Hi,

I'm interested to find out what methods to you use to get traffic from stumble upon.
I tried buying a few hundreds stumbles from microworkers, but I didn't get the results I expected. From all the pages that have been stumbled only something like 5% of them received some traffic, the rest had 0 visitors, it was like those pages were not stumbled.

What do you think I should do next and if it worth's buying stumbles to get more traffic.

Regards!

Stumbleupon has a paid feature where you can get TARGETED traffics. Check it here: https://www.stumbleupon.com/pd

I keep trying to create remarkable content and giving my readers/viewers a way to submit my content to Stumble upon and other sites.

Granted that you have already created a noteworthy content, then the next thing to do is to add a StumbleUpon badge to your website content. Just go to the badges page of StumbleUpon and get the code for it. You may also create a following base on StumbleUpon, and then share your content with your followers. Another option is to use the Paid Discovery feature. In this way, those who are interested in your topic will get directed to your site.
    Hope this helps...

Traffic from StumbleUpon is low conversion rate. This source is not suitable if you want to sell anything or make money quickly. If you want to use StumbeUpon for list building in long term, no problem.

If you really want to receive traffic from StumbleUpon then you have to focus on building your own following, as you do in Twitter. Once you have number of followers then you would automatically start seeing results.

However few things to notice here, only target users who are interested in your niche and always share some interesting stuff. Like images and funny videos. If you share only odd content then it's hard to see any traffic.

Agree with this, its all about building a following.

Whichever Social Media you choose to work with, the same basic principles always apply. For any success, you must have built a decent Network / Followers / Likes / Connections.

Without them, whatever you do is pretty pointless.
