  • Both are good, but in my opinion, Facebook can give you a better chance to market your brand. You can build a page about your brand and put up description and information about it. The character limit in Facebook is not as few as Twitter has, so you won't have a hard time posting what you want to say. Also, you can tag more people in Facebook.

Hi , You can promote your business on both of them. The only difference will be on twitter you have to keep your promotional content precise other than this both channels are great for promotion.

Facebook is much more business oriented in the sense where you can utilize apps to create many different ways to get your customer in front of your product whether it's having an online store directly on your Facebook page or creating landing pages on Facebook to your website's online store.

Twitter will always be one of the social media greats but as mentioned before it can be limited. It's always great to at least have a presence to increase brand recognition but you can still penetrate the saturation on Twitter by posting incentives for followers who sign up for some type of mailing list on your website.

Both are great, though I believe facebook gives you a broader market and better sharing options. Also if you are planning to market in Twitter, make sure your page has a good mobile version.

    Hi mannie85!

Both are good forms of marketing venue. Both are useful. You cannot say that one is better than the other. For me, Facebook and Twitter are lead generators and they direct you to your sales page. It is hard to do direct selling in both parties.

It is advisable that you use both as you can sync the content of twitter account with your Facebook account.

I would go for facebook. The reason is, it has a nice interface where you can share your products and its info. People like to click more on images than just plain links. Also you can create a page on Facebook where you can share your stuff and get more likes and share for the page.

While I would certainly give Facebook a big edge, perhaps conducting a simple A/B marketing test between the two platforms may shed some light on which platform may work best for your product. Not high dollar - just a small sample test. You also could consider a hybrid approach where both platforms are used but with slightly different yet supportive strategies.

you have better chances to promote your product on facebook because of number of texts that you can add in a post whereas on twitter, you have to express yourself in 140 words which is not enough sometimes.
when you are promoting a product, you need to define each and every positive thing about the product which is really essential in getting your users attention.

though twitter has its own benefits as you have followers there. Whatever you post on your profile is visible to everyone in their profile which means you have a better range and a bigger audience.

So it totally depends on what type of product you are promoting rather than just how are you promoting on social medias.

Facebook is the best place to sell your products. You can have a page where you can post all your products with the "add to cart" button. There are also huge of number of users who use Facebook. You can use Twitter to add some traffic to your Facebook page as Twitter was made not for marketing.

You can sell on both. It depends partly on your product but more on your ability to market the product successfully on either network.

If you don't know how to engage with people on Twitter you'll never sell anything there. And the same with Facebook.
