Linking Facebook to Website. Questions.

I have several large Facebook sites, from 100k to 1m likes. At the moment i do not push the traffic.

I was looking at linking all the pictures back to a website, and then use the website for advertising. Does this sort of traffic count when looking to use google adsense and other ways of making money.

Looking to get the best out of the Facebook pages, but not sure on the way forward.

Im not really doing ad based marketing anymore. I have got into other fields in IM. Such as offering service based products.

You need to find a way to bring them into your list, not your website. WHY? Because email subscribers are more responsive than fans.

People subscribe to many pages (including their friend's updates), it's possible that they won't be able to read your posts because of all the noise.

  • Gillies8888,

The method you mentioned is one of the few ways to monetize facebook fans. Either you sell something to them from your page or you steer the fan base to your website. Just make sure that the content you are offering is relevant to the people who are fans of the page.

    Hope that helps,

Should i try to gather emails from facebook users then?

I am in the middle of pushing my Niche websites, but the huge facebook pages are not very niche.

Trying to work out ways to get best use out of them.

Yes, you should gather emails, because it ensures that people receive them in their inbox. People tend to read emails more than fb updates

Well traffic from social networks give a lot less in ads as Search engine users...!! while it may not benefit as much but any traffic can be good as some of the users from pages will turn loyal if they find good content
