Alex,

I would create a business page for the hotel and also (as mentioned by nightrider) use Facebook PPC. You should also create a blog for the hotel website and share posts on facebook. You could just share links to the pages of the site however if you can generate useful content that will help people, this is what will drive traffic to a website.

Definitely start with a FB page and run some cheap but very targeted FB ads. From there, you should be moving people towards this page and even run a giveaway. On your regular website you can even leverage a tool like rafflecopter that allows you to give "entries" into the contest every time someone adds you on twitter or facebook, plus extra entries everytime they post to their own wall or twitter account about your promotion.

i will suggest Fb fan page and Google+ page to your hotel website promotion.
1. Create Fb fan Page. Create several ads and target based on location, demographics.
Post quality updates and promote your posts with ads.

I'd suggest using Google+, or get listed onto Google maps, so that when people are looking at maps in the area they can see that you're there. Also use adwords whenever people search for "hotels in XXX", your ad comes out immediately.

Facebook is a must. Create a personality there instead of just hardselling. Give people tips on how to plan a vacation easily, or how to stay safe during travel, or top 10 mistakes travelers make. Creating a personality people can relate to bonds with people. Then when they think of hotels, you're on their top of mind.

Also, Pinterest. Engage pro photographers and models to get some awesome photos on your hotel/resort, and start pinning them onto pinterest. If your pictures are good it will definitely scale.

You ca use Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest- For these sites, do not forget to post really good photos. For a travel site that won't be hard

Also, you can get coupons too (discount deals, etc) as a way to get a list of subscribers.

I think you might have FB page for your hotel. The next think which you have to do is that try to post some good food offers in your FB page and also try to increase FB likes as much you can. This will help you a lot to generate some business through your FB page.

Facebook and Twiiter is the best social networking site for your business. Nowadays, people check the business page on facebook first before checking the website. You should create like/gateway and do some contest or discount coupon to attract costumers.
