Help Please Facebook Profile AND Page

I have been getting FRIENDS to like my PAGE. I put the same status updates in BOTH places. Does this mean that people will see them twice in their newsfeed? I hope people understand my problem and can give me advice.

  • If they have liked your page prior to you updating on both profiles, then yes, they would see them on their news feed from both profiles. But usually Facebook combines them into one newsfeed post and just says that both pages had posted about that certain topic/article.

Hopefully this answers your question, if not, please feel free to reach out!

Facebook doesn't show your updates to all your friends or all your fans.

So, only a few of them may see your content twice.

  • Trnz,

Another thing to consider is that people can configure their accounts to not receive updates from people or companies that they have connected with. I think the feature isn’t that well known or maybe some people don’t care enough but potentially none of them could be seeing anything that you are posting.

    Best,

If you want more people to see your status, always remember to make your post public. You can adjust the settings at the lower part before you post your status. This way, even those that are not your friends on Facebook can see your status.
