Yes using Facebook,Twitter and LinkedIn can definitely help! People who are looking for your product/services are using social media so the best thing you can do is go them and market to them.

Yes, social media can definitely help. If you set up an ad linking to your website, you can target fans of large real estate Facebook pages. That would be a great way to target an audience interested in your site.

I'm not very familiar with the Real Estate world, but I do know if you set up a landing page that will capture your traffic's email addresses (of those who are interested in selling their home, looking to buy a home, etc) Facebook ads can help you generate leads, just like they do in any other industry, whether it be offline or online.

Residential Real Estate facebook page. Get pictures of the house buyers in front of their now house or infront of their SOLD sign. Post it to facebook, tag the people in the photo so that it shows up in their timeline for friends/family to see. Get them to share the photos, comment, etc. This all drives social referral traffic.

At the same time, post the companies featured listing on the site daily. This means that any followers of the page will see brand new listings and any friends/family that check out the site get to see new listings right there and then....

As an addon to this, utilize Facebook PPC ads to drive more out of town clients to the page that are looking to buy in that city/area.

Awesome tip! I'll work on all of those. I really think this is a tough way of marketing to generate leads or potential tenants since the business that I'm helping are using mostly every marketing strategy they can use. Whew!

One thing, how about getting likes or followers? Do you know effective ways to get likes from specific people living in a specific place? But US followers will do though.

Social media is very useful today. With real estate, you should include LinkedIn. The exposure is not as big in Facebook but you'll get more potential leads.

To generate leads on social media you need to give a compelling free offer in return for an email address - something like 'checklist of 50 things you need to do when moving house' -something that your target market will be interested in.

Also try using the advanced search feature in Twitter - you can search out tweets that are talking about moving house or looking to move house - you can search for tweets in specific locations. When you've played around with some keywords for the search and start getting some interesting tweets, save the search so you can keep going back to it on a daily basis. When you come across tweets that include your keywords you can tweet back giving some tips and then mentioning your free offer.

    Hope that helps a little

Social media can definitely help with what you want to do. Make a Facebook page and Twitter account for the company and get customers through that. You could also utilize LinkedIn to attract potential customers. Remember to make a website for the company as well, don't just rely on social media.
