Need Help - Facebook Custom Audience

Hi,

I recently got a Facebook plugin which finds Facebook groups based on keyword and collects the Facebook ID of all users in it. I got this list so that I can run ads for my targeted audience. But when I try to upload the list to custom audience list I keep getting fatal error. I selected the Facebook ID option in the upload popup and imported the file but it keeps giving me the same error. Can anyone help me out?

      Wow why do people even answer if they have no idea what they are talking about.

      Facebook does allow you to target you ads to a specific list of Facebook ID's. In fact this feature is built right into the Facebook power editor, a Chrome plug in that Facebook provides.

      When you are uploading your list you need to make sure the list is in the correct CSV format. 1 ID per line.

      Also you need to be sure you account is current. Often Facebook will reject actions like this if you owe them money.

      Last keep in mind that the Power Editor itself is a little buggy (Facebook wrote it after all .. lol jk so sometimes if its giving you problems they can be solved by uninstalling and reinstalling it.

        I did have pending payments for Facebook ads but the first time it gave error I paid the pending but I still keep getting the same error after 4 days. I will try to uninstall and reinstall power editor

          It's more likely your data. Make sure there are no funny characters and there is one id per line as others have said.

            Make sure there is only one UID per line.Also remove any symbols or any other funny characters from the list.Power Editor is a bit buggy but it is a great tool.

    Make sure all of your settings on facebook is good, it can be tricky sometimes but you should be ok..
