I have a few tumblr blogs. It was easy to get the maximum number of followers and be somewhat targetted to my blog. (tattoos) I have an affiliate banner and once in a while would use a link on my posts. Of course I show no sales. Tumblr can be an incredible time waster and clearly users are young, self indulgent, have issues, and spend way too much time online. So what I'm wondering is this: Is anybody using Tumblr to generate any profits, build a list, anything that would lend itself to IM? Any comments are welcome.
