    I am getting 1 cent likes (per action) to the tune of 25,000+ people now. It may get more expensive as frequency keeps going up.

    How: Targeting, optimized cpm, set CPA to max of what you are willing to pay, target cheaper countries, attractive image, and make sure your copy speaks to your audience.

      Do the cheaper countries you target actually pay off in terms of ROI though? They may be cheap, but more expensive countries are normally the ones more likely to provide value.

    It is still possible, but only for certain niches. Niches with many advertisers it's quite impossible, as there are many people bidding.

    The "easiest" formula is High CTR + big audience = lower CPC

    It is good idea to start with a higher bid, so that your ads can get impressions, otherwise you can't get high CTR. In order to get high CTR, I recommend you to run multiple ads, and only keep the ones that have high CTR.

    Once you start getting a better CTR, your bid will be lowered automatically by the system, as FB will reward you for your good ads.

    Going after page likes / clicks / newsfeed post is totally up to you, and what you are advertising.

    What constitutes a "big" audience, yoangov? I'm using FB ads for my Ovenclean franchise and I'm targeting women (it's not sexist, it's what's converting!) in our town and nearby, about 15/16,000. I'm assuming that's not as big as what you were getting at?

      It's not about the cost of the click. Penny click are still achievable depending on the niche market. We as marketers/advertisers need to focus on our ROI. Even if your spending 1 dollar a click but each click makes you 1.05 your doing well.

      You have to have the end in sight. How much do you get out of what you put in?

      That said, an audience of 1million is a good size with proper targeting to get likes down to a penny or less. I have been able to do it with audiences between 500,000 to 1M as well.

      All really comes down to your CTR, the longer you can keep it high (over 1% usually) the more the click cost will continue to drop until ad blindness sets in.

    if you have big audience then your ad might show more often even if you paid only 1 penny. but you will not get a lot of click volume in that way.

    The best way to achieve high CTR in the lowest price possible is to create a custom audience. Do a research in your niche, find relevant groups and pages, use scraping tools and download the IDs of the users, copy all of the IDs in a txt file, upload it on your power editor and that's it. You are now targeting users who already have shown high interest in what you promote and the result will be high CTR, low cost clicks and of course more sales.

      There are few things you need to do to get those likes;

      #1 good image - relevant to the niche market
      #2 Simple Title
      #3 Simple call to action
      #4 right targeting

      Example

      Niche moms
      #1 Mommy pic
      #2 Proud Mommy?
      #3 Like us if you are
      #4 - target moms only but drop in few countries that are not USA, Canada, Uk

        It hugely depends on a niche.

        I am currently in a two different niches. First niche is weight loss. One just can't get them to click on anything. In my second niche, they just click, share, post like there is no tomorrow. In the first niche I can't get bellow $0.25 per Like, in the second niche I am on $0.035 completely effortlessly.

        Second niche is a hobby.

    @Ivana,

    You are getting some amazing CTRs there, like 1.93% etc. My best CTRs are around 0.6% in weight loss niche.

    As far as Likes are concerned, OK one can get cheaper Likes from outside of G7 countries, but than these people won't be buying anything? Unless it is for branding, it is of very little value. I guess?
