I'm new to Linked In, So I need detail guidelines to make it more beneficial for my online business.

    LinkedIn is the place for the professionals who wants to increase their relations with company colleagues and other company co-workers. There you can find different kind of companies offering jobs or conducting seminars about a topic to get more followers and to increase their brand identity. So in order to increase your brand identity you have to share the brand related contents or blog links with the followers.

    There are many professional people on LinkedIn. If your business is B2B then LinkedIn is a very good sight to work on. LinkedIn also has the facility to make groups. You can make a group of your business and ask others to join. And whenever making a page or a group, always remember, post something new and interesting for your customers to be attracted to you, so that you would have traffic on your group all the time. Many Facebook pages are always so active that it seems like they are never asleep. So keep your group active all the time so that people would always stay on your page.
    And don't ask people to open your page and do nothing but keep it on, that does not count as traffic, that is fake traffic and that would never help your business in making any sales.

      1. Make sure you completely fill out your profile
      2. Join groups related to your industry
      3. Add connections related to your industry or a lateral industry
      4. Get Involved in those groups by asking and answering questions.
      5. Depending on what your business is, create a short report (5-7 Tips, doesnt have to be long) and offer it to your connections and post it in groups etc.
      6. Network with people as much as you can to get them interested in what you do.
      7. Any group you are a part of allows you to be able to msg members directly even if you are not connected.
