Teespring frustrations

I thought I was onto a winner with a specific shirt in my niche. I created the shirt & targeted a custom audience of just over 1.2 millon and got the following results from the Facebook ad.

Yet, no sales...

Wow that's strange! I wonder how you got your cpc at 0.07. I just started a campaign last night for testing a product and go from there. My suggested bid is at 0.66. And I'm laser targeting another fan page which has a crap load of fans, I've selected (All Facebook Including Newsfeed). All my stats are at zero, no clicks or anything. My target audience is over 3 million in the US. My fan page has 3 fans.

If anyone could give both of us advice, it surely would be appreciated.

What's the point of having a sig if no one buys from you?

Marinerd if I had to guess your design is intriguing, but not one people would want to buy and wear. They just think it looks cool, so they click the ad without any real intent to buy. If it's a Seahawks type shirt those are all over Teespring. That's purely speculation on my part, given the fact you live in WA.

His CTR is high, that's probably the reason why he got his CPC at 7 cents.

Yesterday I saw a 150k fanpage which was very active selling a very good t-shirt design. For 3 days they have sold only 1 shirt. The page was very niche... perhaps too much people are doing teespring campaigns on FB

Agreed, teespring saturation is probably a thing now. However, I do believe that selling shirts through an active fanpage is the way to go.

I'm through straight out advertising and am waiting to build my fanpage (which is currently at 700 likes in the first week) before launching another campaign.

Well it could be your audience is too big and not targeted enough. If you think about you have only reached .002% of your audience. I have been trying out much smaller but more targeted audiences lately.

Tell you what if you want you can pm me and i will gladly try to help and see if we can get you going. No strings, no sells, just a good word maybe if i can help. And if i cant' it's just between us.

It has nothing to do with the Seahawks - WA in my case is Western Australia!.

I used Social Lead Freak to create a custom audience in my niche. I've used it a few times and it's a pretty good list - with the right image I've gotten $.05 likes.

The other frustrating thing is that for the first $10 of this teespring campaign, the shirt ad got about 40 likes and a handful of shares...so it's been an expensive way to get a few more likes, but a crappy conversion.

I thought about it last night and concluded that my niche isn't into kitschy shirts and I should probably look to create something a bit more relevant to them.
