Is Facebook using Flash Cookies?

Does anybody knows, is FB using Flash Cookies. These are nasty cookies that are shared across the browsers. If you visit a site with Internet Explorer and than switch to FireFox, site can still track you.

As well, if you delete cookies from your browser, that would remove only old style text cookies, but not Flash Cookies.

I don't get it. If you delete the cookies, you deleted the cookies - where else can they "hide" them so that you cannot delete them?
