Has anyone seen a higher price per click on timeline ads vs. sidebar ads? I'm running 2 ads that are relatively the same target, exact same picture, and words.

The only difference is one has turned off timeline ads and the other doesn't.

CPM's seem to be somewhat the same and are continuing to drop. The weird thing is the price per like on the timeline one is actually lower today than the one without timeline.

Ad with Timeline
Price per like .04 today.
CPM 3.76 (And dropping)

Ad without Timeline
Price per Like fluctuates between .05 - .04 (More on the .05 side)
CPM is 3.54 (And Dropping)

Also, I'm letting facebook optimize for likes since that's what I'm going for. When I manually big for impressions I was getting a SUPER low click through ratio. It seems as though letting facebook optimize it is doing much better with Click-through and conversions to facebook likes.

I did however hear that at some point facebook likes to raise the CPM really high. I've been monitoring the CPMs every 2 hours to see if they are raising or lowering. So far they've dropped tremendously as the ads do better and better.

I'm hoping to see .01 fans or less in the upcoming month. I got my fingers crossed although where I am now at .04-.05 is also great! And they're strictly U.S fans, no other tiers.
