According to my opinion all social networking sites are good, it depends upon your friend and followers added to your profile. Use popular social networking sites as Facebook, google plus, twitter, my space etc. Sometime using less popular social networking sites are also good for getting more traffic to your website. Create good pages and groups for your website and add peoples with same interest.

For me Twitter is a great way to market your blogs especially when you make them keyword rich and use popular trending words.

For example when the Worldcup was trending on Twitter I incorporated #Worldcup into my tweet about a blog post I had written on solo ads!

It's all about been creative and using trending words to drive traffic to your blogs.

I believe using Facebook is definitely one of the best. Twitter is another great platform. I use Pinterest as well and the great part is that I can post to FB and Twitter from there. But Google + is one of the best that is highly overlooked. Instagram is starting to send me some traffic as well. Don't sleep on Rebelmouse it is an up and coming Social Media Platform. Last but not least is Klout. It is one that you want to pay attention to as well. All of these help out tremendously.

Use Facebook, Twitter, Google + for sharing your posts. Try to increase your followers on twitter and Google +. Daily follow different twitter profiles of websites and bloggers which come into your niche. Use pinterest to pin your images. Pinterest is also a good source of traffic.

From my experience, I have had the best results using a combination of social media sites to help market blogs.

You can get great results with one single site, depending on which site and how you market your content, but for the most traffic, it would be a good idea to include multiple sites to really send your content viral.

I think you can use it all for your blog. However, there should always be one platform that will standout from the rest. Linkedin would be a good way to give your contents the exposure it needs especially if your topics are more on profession, careers, and the like. You can find blogs that are related to your niche and contribute by providing the links of your website. Please take note that it should contribute to the discussion or else it will be tagged as spam.

So, first off, your blog is about 'blogging'. So the most likely place to advertise or market are forums that focus on blogging, even large webmaster forums with a 'blogging' subforum and active community. You are looking for real bloggers, not people who are bloggers with blog how to blogs. There is no specific social network for this, so try out Facebook groups that focus on 'blogging' and 'bloggers', especially the ones that are highly moderated but allow a once weekly sharing of blog links.

Pretty sure that Google slammed the door on those do follow links and Pinterest along with them. Still, it's useful to post your content on both sites as the Google+ pages and Pinterest pin boards are usually found ranking highly in Google search for popular keywords. You could still get traffic if someone finds your content on either site and clicks through to read/see more.

They're all good but I think Google +, tumblr, Instagram, and Pin interest are best. It all depends upon how you use them though. you need to focus on on the human side of your business along with your marketing to win people over. If you keep giving sales pitches then I doubt any social media in the world can help you generate traffic.
