Best FB Ads tracking software

Does anyone know what is the best FB Ads tracking software? Or perhaps, the existing in-built tracking in FB is good enough?

Thx.

In most cases, for tracking and reporting, what FB has built-in is more than enough.

I use third party ad managers, but only for work (large corporation). I'd recommend third party ad managers (like Kenshoo) only if you're doing FB ads on a massive scale.

Even on a large scale, though, you can get by easily with power editor and the existing FB reporting/tracking. Reporting/Power Editor loading does take a bit longer though, once you have a crapload of ads.

What are you advertising? Your own site? A landing page? An e-commerce store? Direct linking to affiliate offers? Are you advertising on multiple channels at the same time? Are you able to make use of FB's conversion pixel, or do you need subid-based tracking?

As Dan already suggested, you only need Facebook's pixel.

If you want to add a redundant tracking layer, I'd suggest Improvely.

Voluum is probably the best IMO.

In my opinion it has to be Voluum.

If you're only advertising this webpage on Facebook, and that's the only way people can find it, then Facebook's conversion pixel will give you all the data you need.

If you're advertising on multiple channels at once, you'll probably want your own 3rd-party analytics set up. Facebook's pixel is going to take credit for any visitor that ever passed through your Facebook ad. You won't have the full picture if some of those people had already visited your site through other ads or links, or only signed up after returning through other ads or links.

Hey Dan. I've been using facebook ads for a long time now, but still never got the conversion pixel to work :/
I use Shopify, which has a function that puts the conversion pixel in the "Thanks for your order" page. Still, facebook will tell me I have hundreds of conversions on days where I have no orders.. Any idea why/how/what?

What has happened most likely is that FB pixel fired on click but not on conversion.

you can not compare Voluum and imobitrax, they are created for different kind of affiliates. Self-hosted and SaaS. Imobitrax is definitely for experienced affiliates, voluum is more nooby-friendly but can get expensive when you grow traffic volume.

You can try Qwaya. But you have to pay for it. To use this software you have to pay $149/month. For free software you may try AdEspresso - it's currently free to use and will help you with all of the things you mentioned.
