Are threads getting approved on the main board?

Tonight there was a thread from a new warrior who posted a thread about how her Smartphone was stuck in safe mode and how could she fix it !!!!!
I thought I read somewhere that all threads were being moderated before posting so the spam would stop!
so I guess may question is are the threads being moderated for junk and the like?
