Seeing that Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencys are getting a lot more popular it would be nice to have a section for this now ..We gotta move with the times ...

    What I notice is every time cryptocurrency is mentioned here - the spammers post like crazy.

    The only problem is that It is advocated with hackers for payment now so this being a website owned by an Australian company which is one that is public listed on the ASX the media here would have a field day .

    Yeah, but the fact that there is poor moderation shouldn't play into the decision whether or not a new section is opened or not.

    I don't care one way or the other, but...

    Allowing conversations about crytocurrency doesn't mean you are advocating illegal activities. It is becoming more and more accepted and adopted across the world. Recently India, South Korea, and Japan all legalized it.

    The US dollar is also used for plenty of illegal activities. Should we ban conversations about that too?

    PayPal is often used for fraudulent activities, many of them right here in the WF marketplace. Should the WF stop allowing discussions about PayPal and stop allowing it to be used as a payment option?

    Is there a section for "paypal"?

    Of course not.

    Most have said they are not against discussions of BC, etc when those discussions are about internet marketing rather than about 'investing'.

    You can't avoid the fact those threads lead to spam and scam attempts - you can clearly see the posts. Yes, mods are needed to keep it in line but why add a full section on a topic you KNOW leads to the lowest form of 'participation'?

        Mike if we were to have a discussion about Crypto how long before some numb nut hijacks it for there own agenda ? I know Marcus wrote that the off topic was the place for Crypto so I does have a place on the Forum

        as of two days ago this was one of the main head lines in the Australian Newspaper "Cryptocurrencies created by anarchists to bring monetary system down" so I am not kidding about the press anywhere there is a story about Crypto they are on it , The ABC TV station did a hatchet job the other night on Block Chain so while it is in the news better to leave in off topic

          You've came to the conclusion that all crypto is evil from reading CNN type news sites.

          Your comments on the subject are also invalid.

          The OT forum is a trash can, it's not a sub-forum in the sense of being useful or promoted by Warrior Forum. It's where mods throw stuff when they don't want to deal with it. So, the OT comment is silly all by itself.

            Mate I have nothing against Crypto at all ! and you can post what ever links you like but this is an Australian website so what ever the idiot press go on abouts they will , like the bloke who has the website in Sydney bitify already been labeled a money laundering website for hackers who use Bitcoins by the TV press

            The Government here was thinking of outlawing the currency though more of a knee jerk reaction to all hacking that has been going on and total BS

            But to the original issue I think there are more important niches that need there own sub forum first

      You have no idea what crypto is, it's not a Paypal that's for sure.

      As far as spam, where have you been on this forum for the last 13 years and not found spam daily even with crypto sub-forums not happening here?

      Your entire comment is invalid.

      No offense but you couldn't possibly contribute with a positive opinion when you don't even understand the subject based on experience. Reading CNN or equivalent news sites isn't experience.

      Keep in mind Warrior Forum is aggressively advertising crypto banner ads right now, today.
