With the Tim Pears Thread it got me thinking...

It would be good if the forum and WSO area had a way of donating a certain fixed amount from WSO's to give to fellow warriors in need.

Not sure how it would work, just an idea I have seen other companies do.

Lots of warriors are "in need." It's only when there is a very SERIOUS need that we all pull together.
I could be regarded as being "in need" due to severe medical problems but I am no way in as much need as Tim. I know other warriors whose needs are more than mine.

People can't just keep giving all the time. But when we do find a "cause," we dig deep and do our best to help.

Have you donated to Tim's appeal?

      Fair enough.

Tim knows if I donated or not. I'm not one to flaunt to other's how much and how often I donate to charity or otherwise as do I not explain to my tax accountant what and how much I donated as to claim it back

I think when people donate, they should donate from the heart and forget the ego.

I also think people can and do give all of the time. I am sure we all know several people that donate or give something of themselves, their time, energy or money on a regular basis.

Thanks for caring enough to respond.

      Cheers.

Interesting idea Goindeep, though the thought behind it is admirable, the practicalities in how, and who decides what need is greatest! would make the concept hard to implement.

Anyway, as this is a business forum! there are many ways we can start on our way to making our mark online, even as a newbie with little financial means, one can still make money online with the right goals and attitude.

I was more thinking of donations for those warriors we know are in need with health issues, drug problems, homelessness etc. If there is no current need and if everyone is OK then warriors could put their local schools hospitals and other social organizations up to receive the donations.

One way to do it would be to offer WSO sellers the ability to donate 1% of their earnings to the "warrior forum fund" which then gets given to the chosen person or organization or split amongst a few of them at the end of each month.

WSO sellers could even get given a badge of sorts to display their philanthropic ways

When you create a "fund" you need to have administrators of the fund - and then you need to have people who decide where the fund is distributed. I think that would create more problems than it solves.

Any WSO seller can donate part of his proceeds to any charity or fund he chooses - with or without announcing it. Members can announce their contributions or contribute anonymously.

  • I have thought about something similar but to have people donate coaching.
