SUGGESTIONS

Hi

What happend to "find all posts by user" ? When I click it i got results only to 10.08.2013. I can`t get newest posts...

It's been being looked into for roughly 6 months....maybe sometime in the next 6 months it will be fixed.

I know this has been an outstanding issue for a long time. I appreciate everyone's patience. This should all be fixed now.

Nope, not even close to being fixed. My "find all posts by user" function only goes back to Aug. 27, 2014 when searching my own posts

To see it's not just when happening when I search my own posts...

I just checked Dennis Gaskill....his goes back to only June 2014 for me. (only 633 posts) (4,909 posts according to his profile which of course does not reflect all forum posts)

I just checked Kay King...hers go back to Aug.2014 for me. (only 830 posts) (16,583 posts according to her profile which of course does not reflect all forum posts)

I just checked out Alexa...hers go back to Oct. 2014 for me. (only 457 posts) (26,078 posts according to her profile which of course does not reflect all forum posts)

The percentage of posts it's returning of Alexa's for me is .01752435002% ---> slightly less than 2%.

So yes, I am still encountering major issues.

It's not "fixed," but it's definitely much better. It will allow people to find their own recent posts, so they can get back to threads they want to follow, and it's going to be a huge help for the moderators.

If it keeps up with future posts without losing the existing searchable ones, it's probably 80-90% of what most people use. That's a big improvement.

Alaister ... have checked it out as promised and am very happy to report that for my purposes, usually, it does fine in finding the newest posts and all of them in the case where the poster doesn't have many posts. It doesn't find all the posts or even most of the posts of someone like me or Alexa and others who have a ton of posts (458 for Alexa) .... but I have to add that I would rarely be looking for someone posts beyond that number.

It's a great improvement for moderators to see the history of a poster and patterns of posting.

So then I did a test on searching for a keyword in the forum and it passed with finding 882 results for a keyword. I probably wouldn't look much beyond that even if there were more results, so it's useful.

  yeh it's good that the results are returning the most recent ones. We're still looking to fix it completely. It is a lot more usable now.
