Affiliate Theme on Wordpress

Trying to make Affiliate theme look nice. When I add a text box, it shoves the box way down at the bottom but I want it in the sidebar on the right just under my opt-in box.

Any ideas how to get the text box up where I want it to be?

    you might need to edit sidebar.php directly - are you saying you're having a problem when you insert a text widget?

    Yes, if I simply add a text widget and put some text in it, it winds up down at the bottom. I did the first one and put an opt-in box and image there but it doesn't want to work for the second one.

      Don't know if this is the problem you have...

      In other themes, I have had problems when adding widgets where you leave the titles blank. Sometimes they make the page move around in funny ways...

        Never thought to re-order them...duh.

        So I have Widget 1 - Opt-in box and then Widget 2 - List of videos. When I reordered the widgets the first time, they both moved up to the side nicely.

        When I switched them back, one wound up at the bottom again. Switched them back again and we're back where we started! (One top right and one at the bottom).

        I've tried putting the widgets on the left, tried naming them versus not naming them and nothing seems to jam widget number two up to the right!
