    I think the best wordpress theme would be what your imagination makes it to be.

    I don't use premade layouts or anything, so I can't really show any. I design all of mine myself.

    However, I can say that creativity, no matter what it looks like, is good in the eyes of the beholder. As long as you think it's good, then it is.

    for me Flexxbold is the best wp themes, you can design your template, you can arrange the template, for example, you can arrange how many column, you can arrange where the widget will be, etc etc

    I use Thesis because it's consistently pushing the functionality envelope. For me that's the best one.

    The latest version has SEO functionality in it that enables you to drop some SEO related plugins - and less plugins on a site is good

    However, there are a lot of WordPress theme sites, both paid and free, at the bottom of an article I wrote a while ago. If you're looking for a theme there might be something on one of those sites that works for you.

    Depends on if you mean free or paid.

    IMO the best free theme is Flexibility 2: Flexibility Theme for WordPress

    Paid themes - couldn't tell you as I always make my own, but Thesis does look flexible, which is pretty cool.

    I find Thesis has moved too far away form the normal wordpress structure so its getting harder to customise.

    I recently bought this theme: it look fantastic on the local swimming clubs website:
