So basically I have a client who owns a premium domain about movies. He wants to turn the site into essentially a top 100 all time movies voting system so users can get online and rate the top 100 best movies of all time. I am very good with front-end design, but I'm not the most adept with backend or really deciding how I am going to do this.
Does anyone know a template or even a CMS that is already in place that could help me out? Or if someone thinks they could do this then I would open to working alongside you and could bring you some future business if it works out.

You could do it with wordpress. In fact, I know there are plugins and even some premade themes that have a upvote/downvote type system.

I agree with Sitestomp. There's pretty much a plugin for almost anything you want on a wordpress website. If your clients website is using wordpress, then just search on google for something like "voting system plugin" and you should get a result. Also keep in mind that there are both free and paid plugins. Hope that helps

WordPress is best for this kind o website that you are talking about. And for voting, there are many voting/rating plugins are available and most of them are free....

Hi 704Designs You might want to consider having a plugin made that pulls info from API from some of the big movie databese sites. That way you could have a lot of content on the site in a short period of time. you need to be careful though and folow the rules the API owner sets. This way will probably be more costly but has its benefits as content creation will become automatic. Just my 2cents Have fun and Good luck
