      wordpress.org, really don't go any further than this. Most of the themes there will suit your needs.
      There are a number of "free" themes and sites that have malware encoded in the theme.

    Free themes don't always have malware encoded with them. Some theme providers giveaway free themes to cross promo their commercial themes. Those are high-quality themes.
    Avoid theme marketplace or somewhere anyone can submit free themes easily. Those would be the ones with malware or something bad.

      There are number of websites that have free themes and you can choose any out of them. But, ready made themes may not fulfill your all requirements. I would say if you can spare few hours then design your own themes than go for ready made. I have been using a software named TemplateToaster, you can use this software and can make any kind of themes in just couple of hours.
