Squeeze pg. / Opt-in Configuration

Does anyone know how you get an already (pre-made) squeeze page, that is completed but has an unfinished opt-in box (not activated)...know how to "hook up" the opt-in box with your autoresponder and activate the opt-in box where it will be ready for people to enter their name and email. The auto-responder I plan to use is Aweber.

Any videos available or picture articles? I could not find anything.

You can check out these self-hosted platforms to create marketing pages:

    1. LeadPages
    2. 1MinuteSites
    3. LandingPageMonkey

If you use Wordpress, check out these Wordpress plugins:

    1. WP Profit Builder
    2. InstaBuilder

If you need a stand-alone squeezepage then you can simply create one using any webpage builder.

All you have to do next is to insert your autoresponder code and you're done.

On WordPress there are a ton of options (as there are for any CMS). I like to use HybridConnect and InstaBuilder.

The new InstaBuilder also has an option to 'export HTML' so you can use your squeezepage outside of WP as well. If you need more info let me know.

Ok, Thank you for the squeeze page software/ plugins. However what I'm talking about is a squeeze page that is already formated. It has a box that needs to be "activated" what I mean is that everything is done and you can not put the cursor in the box to type in your details of the opt-in box, it's not formatted. Are you saying as soon as I put in the auto-responder code it will enable the the cursor to be able to blink where you are suppose to type your name and email. I think what I'm talking about you need to do something with the webform part of your auto-responder.
Does anyone have a link on directions for the webform part of making the cursor blink and enable it to type in your details (email/password)?

The web form is created in your autoresponder service. Aweber has a good help/support section for that.

Then you just copy and paste the code into your squeeze page. There is nothing to "activate". Just add the optin form code to your web page and upload, or add it your wordpress page and save.

    Does that help?

Don't know what you saying about password, not something you ask for on a normal squeeze page. Usually just email address and first name.

      This is nonsense.

Neither Aweber nor GetResponse (rightly) would allow you to do that. (And it wouldn't work, anyway).

Still, at least - unlike the other nonsense you're currently posting which the moderators are also currently deleting - you appear not to have stolen this one from the web and just pasted it in to the forum. No surprise there, though: nobody else would be silly enough to offer such dreadful advice.

Ok so, it doesn't look like anybody has really answered your question, which is how to insert form code into an existing landing page. Ron Killian is right though there is really nothing to activate - what you need to do is take the form code aweber , Getresponse, mailchimp or whatever gives you and either manually insert that in place of the existing form.

The exact way you do this will depend on the squeeze page template you are using. Where is your squeeze page? Is it in Wordpress or is it a static template, a hosted squeezpage on leadpages or something? Give us more info

Also with regards to the following:

You can actually import contacts into GR or aweber manually, however, I agree this i off topic and generally garbage advice.

I've created a squeeze page in GetResponse. How do I take that page and insert on my website?

What does it mean to put the autoresponder code in the form?

Is it best to host the squeeze page on the autoresponder? Since there's no other options but to fill it out or leave, I guess there's no reason to put it on your website.

It's best to start your own thread, so you can get detailed assistance. Some call this hijacking a thread.

Did you create a page or a form in Getresponse? Your talking about two slightly different things.

If I remember correctly with GT, you can only create a form. After creating the form, you simply copy the code that is generated and paste it into a webpage (one you create or one you already have), and upload the page. If iit's wordpress, you just paste the code into your wordpress page or post.

I don't know the benefits of hosting the page on GT. It's been a while since I've used them. I personally prefer to have everything on my own hosting. If something ever happens you still have the page. If you host with GT, your links will all point to that page on GT, links you might not be able to change.

            Does that help?

My apologies to OP if this was a hijacking. I've read many posts and this is the first where someone has talked about copying code. I've been stuck on this concept for awhile. I hadn't found good info on my autoresponder about moving form to my website.
