SEO Friendlyness of a HTML Theme after conversion into Wordpress one

Recently i have newly designed one of my website in wordpress. I have noticed that the theme of the website was previously in HTML and my designer team has converted it into wordpress one.I have come to know that converting a HTML theme into wordpress make the new theme nowhere near as SEO friendly as the previous one. The HTML theme was SEO ready. Is it true or not? If it's true, is there any way to solve the issue?

    That depends on your designer team, were they knowledgeable in on page seo or not, did they used on page seo best practice while converting your design to theme or not. No one can actually say that your wp theme is seo friendly like your html theme or not, without actually comparing both.

    Similarly no solution can actually be posted without actually checking the issue, and in your case we don't know its an issue or just a doubt in your mind, right?
