Help With My WordPress Admin Panel Problem

Hi Warriors,

I logged on to my WordPress site Admin panel, when trying to insert some links on my article posts, now nothing is clickable i.e. attaching media, adding links, picture, adding key words for my articles etc. Nothing is responsive.

What do you think might be the problem?

    Might sound kind of simple, but could it be your browser? Can you use other websites with no problem. Only reason I can think of for nothing to be responsive.

    Maybe even try a different browser. Or a bad/dead mouse?

    If nothing works on your dashboard, chances are that your browser did not load some of the required javascript files. Are you able to load other websites and do they work for you?

    I would start with wordpressexperthelp suggestion and check if all the required JavaScript files are loading. You can verify this by reloading the page with your browsers console open and on the "net" or "Network" tab.

    I'm assuming you're not using IE. You can open the console by pressing F12. Once you've done this you'll see a new addition to the bottom of your screen. Find the "Net" or "Network" tab and click on it. You won't see anything until you refresh your screen. One you refresh the console will start displaying all the files that are being downloaded from the server to display the page. If any files are missing that are supposed to be there they will be highlighted in red. If you see a bunch of red highlighted files that end in .js?ver=1.3.3 than wordpressexperthelp is correct.

      Deactivate all plugins. In 95% cases it fixes the problem, in other 5% change theme. One of the plugins is not well developed, which causes blocking general js files.

    This type of problems will occur when you update the latest version of the WordPress i.e. your website theme does not support the latest version of the WordPress.

    Hi Bongani. You're probably running a bad plugin with a coding error. A WordPress expert would be able to diagnose the problem for you.

    Try to check if all external files javascript, css etc. are properly loaded...by doing that click viewsource and click each of external files.

    Try also to check your browser's compatibility and one last thing check if there's a div with higher visibility that blocking from clicking the other stuff/links.
