Updating to a newer version of Wordpress can cause a whole lot of problems,

Make sure all your plugins & theme are compatible and updated to run on a 4.0 version of Wordpress.

Are the latest versions compatible with 4.0? Some developers don't keep up with Wordpress.

Mind linking me to the plugin used?

looks like a font awesome issue and some theme problems, you have some 404 listings in the theme resources, consider a theme change or check your plugins for issues.

Ok you then will have to go in and change the hard coded links to your new links. If you can't do this hire someone.

if they are not hard coded then look at the plugin configuration file and maybe there you can change the domain name,

1 last thing is disable plugin then re enable it maybe it will pick up the new domain name.

Make sure your new site name is correct in general settings.
Now change your permalinks to the generic and then back again to your preferred custom setting.
If still problems then you can look for hard-coded links.
If it gets too hard take the sugestion above and hire someone. It could take me up to 4 hours to correct this type of thing and I do it all the time for clients so expect it to take you at least 3 to 4 times as long.

You can change the domain name in posts using phpmyadmin, but you have to be very careful.
