Hello, I paid a web hosting service where Wordpress was already installed in a subdomain and my chosen domain is pointed as an additional domain, the site is accessible through both. And on the Wordpress dashboard, the link "View your site" points to the subdomain. Is all this ok?

Don't know if it's bad, but I think it's always best to install in the root of the site. Unless there is a reason you need it in a sub domain?

Rarely see sub domains rank. If your looking for SEO.

Ron, when I accessed the control panel, the wordpress was already installed in a sub domain, but not a sub domain of my domain, this is a sub domain made with my user name + their control panel domain, but there is an option to point domains, so I pointed my domain but it has been set as an additional domain.

The thing is that the site is accessible through both, the sub domain and my domain.

I want to say I'm not experienced in this, so I don't know whether this is in all host the same or not, just curious, I was about to ask them, but then I thought better to ask here first to learn about it.
