With so many software available nowadays, it has become quite hard to keep up with everything on the web that can help you in your web design campaigns. I have used some interesting and useful website designing tools :

InVision
Codekit
Webflow
Icebergs
LayerVault
Adobe Kuler

Suggest me more...

I'm surprised not to see photoshop or gimp on the list They're usually top choice for a web designer.

The apps you listed are all very different and serve a unique purpose to the web design process. It's up to you to figure out your own process and then select the best apps/programs that will fulfill those processes.

And btw Adobe Kuler is now Adobe Color CC

Hi, I am a professional web designer and developer. Yes, I agree that, there are several software tools available for web designing. Currently I am using a great web designing software called "TemplateToaster". This is a desktop based theme generating software for all major CMS with advanced features like bootstrap, ultra responsiveness, clean code generation and many more latest features.

Actually, I think every graphic designer has their own preferences. I myself am familiar with photoshop, which is why I mentioned it earlier (thought I'm not a designer), but there are plenty of graphic designers who prefer using a totally different software to do their work. It's a subjective matter in the end..

Because there are so many web design tools, most people run into problems when they use certain features. However, there are many resources that provide step-by-step instructions.
