How do I back up my website
Is it my host responsibility or I need to pay for the service elsewhere ?

If your using wordpress search for a plugin called BackUpWordPress, its super easy to back up using that plugin

What is your hosting panel?
If it's CPANEL then you have baclup wizard:

  +1 for BackWPUp if you use Wordpress as CMS. Supereasy to use and some nice features like daily automatic backup sent to you as email.

you might just hardened it manually. there are tutorials online taht suggest only your ip can edit your site. taht should be a good thing.

You should ALWAYS keep your own backups, even if the host offers backups.

If using cPanel, there's a backup utility built in that will back up the whole account whereas WordPress plugins (have no idea if you're using WordPress, but if not, the plugins mentioned mean nothing) will only back up your site - no emails, databases, DNS etc.
