Hello all,

I really need help. I am trying to customise my wordpress theme for my blog and I am stuck! I really don't know what to do! Any suggestions or tutorials I can use that are good? I have come across short codes ultimate plugin but not sure whether that is suitable for a beginner like me. I will appreciate fellow Warriors assistance.

      Hi sorry if I was a bit vague. I don't have my site up yet as I am still working on customising my template. I need to make changes to the template such as changing the style of name of my site at the header. Also changing the colours of the navigation menu. Customising my posts more. I hope that helps.

    Have you looked under Appearance - Customize in your admin panel? Sounds like a simple enough job for the theme editor.

    What do you need costumized? Post a link to your page and say what you need editet. Most of these editing plugins don´t do the job that good so I allways recommend to everyone who use wordpress, to learn basic HTML and CSS skills.

    Since you are beginner, start small, change css style properties and html. Use w3schools tutorials and inspect element in browser. When something looks better, copy it on server. I think the last thing would be messing with php and mysql.
