I personally am not a fan of three column theme's. Just takes up so much room. Less room for content. Of course my opinion.

You have stuff in the left column that is also in the top sticky menu. Why?

There are two opt-in sections, one on left, one on right. Might be confusing. One on left says "sign up", not going to get you many optins at all. You need to give them a good reason to sign up, so they want to sign up. Same for one in the right sidebar. Both will be low performing.

It looks okay. It's the default wordpress theme, so it's not that special and 1,000's of other sites will look pretty much the same as your site.

      • Hi Andrew

I also think the site looks dated. There are plenty of great inexpensive themes out there now, choose carefully and choose one that receives developer updates. Take a look at the X theme or Be Themes

        Good luck!

I would image that someone that needs your info does not know how to make money from home. I think they would feel bombarded. The site has no real flow and seems like it has a lot of ads.

The site feels kind of dated and I would feel unsafe giving any kind of information to it.

Also not a big fan of the scrolling thing on the bottom. I confuses me.

I have to agree that a three column site just looks way too busy for today's standards.

People want the information they are searching for fast and efficiently and when you distract them with annoyances, they'll close the tab.

That being said, I absolutely hate it when a website uses the old and stupid newsletter popup. So many people use it, but don't realize that as your site is loading and the user is waiting for your content, you can't just throw these things right at their face. It won't work.

Think about it... when someone arrives at your website for the first time because they noticed it in a search engine, they are after your content and not after subscribing to you or taking a look at your hot offers. You have to assume they don't know you and that you need to earn their trust first.
