Need to create GIF with low Kb. Which program to use?

Hey all,

i wonder if you can suggest a way to create GIF banners with low Kb.
I know i could resize them but they would lose in quality so idea would be to create them or if you know a way to low Kb without losing quality.

Photoshop does a pretty good job of creating gifs that are a few kb.

The amount of frames, colors, the dimensions of the gif all play a part in how large the file will be. If Photoshop creates a gif that's still too large there's plenty of gif compression sites.

If anyone has more options i would appreciate so i can try different ways.
I would avoid compression as said as it changes quality.

I saw GIF animated banners online with Kb lower than 30!!

I would like to create animated leaderboards with such low Kb.

You cannot get a smaller file size with compressing the actual GIF. Have you tried all the sites I listed?

Animated leaderboards are usually a couple of frames long and pretty static, shouldn't be easy to make them small.
