Suggestions for information website

Hi all. I'm new to the forum and happened upon this when I was looking for some information for a website I'm in the process of building. I have been an entrepreneur for many years owning multiple traditional businesses and through that I have developed lots of connections with individuals and companies about how to do various things or what companies I use for services. Recently I have been getting more questions from others looking to get started and needing information. I'm trying to create a site that contains a lot of this information in a very informative yet intuitive manner. My problem is I have information ranging from web design to credit card processing to consulting to security to printing services etc (all the things that traditional businesses tend to use at one point or another). I'm really trying to avoid a very disjointed look and having a lot of trouble coming up with it. I'm wondering if there are any websites that people know of that I might be able to look at and get inspiration from. I don't in any way wish to copy anyone else's design or ideas I am more looking for some inspiration than anything. Thanks so much in advance!

My suggestion would be to avoid doing anything too general. It's probably best to focus on something specific. Become a worlwide expert in a specific niche!

Anyway, here are some "general" websites to inspire you:

First of all, thank you so much for your recommendations Sven300. I definitely agree with you on not making it too general because then people don't really know what exactly you do. I have run an electronic recycling business for many years so that is the industry I know best but as with any business, you overcome hurdles that businesses in other industries will come across as well. So I guess what I'm aiming for is a place where I can put valuable information mainly for the electronic recycling business but that other people would find value in as well if that makes sense??
