Keep this theme or upgrade?

WEB DESIGN

Howdy. I am currently using a premium Themeforest theme called "NewsPaper" with slight customization. My main colors are orange/blue so I tried slight modification with the two colors.

For this type of blog, does my current theme look professional enough for readers? Or should I look at upgrading to this theme with my same colors.

What do you think?

Do you think if I re do the layout or twist things around it would look more professional? Just a possibility of saving $59 that I could put towards advertising or something
