Feedback Request: Cute or Cluttered?

Is it "cute" or is it super distracting?
I've always been a fan of minimalistic designs...

Which theme do you think is better for a blog aimed at young girls/women who enjoy videogames and Japanese Animation - especially games/anime with "cute" artwork"
I still kinda like the all white look better :*( Maybe I just need time to get used to the new one lol.
EDIT: I noticed that in Mobile (Iphone) that the background image does not display in portrait mode - and in landscape mode the background fills in as a header image. So if viewing on a mobile device you may not know exactly what I'm talking about
EDIT 2: I made it a lot more "muted" in color - and I like it a lot better now. I think I'm finally "happy" with it - but I'm still open to feedback.
