Who's the best host for blogs?

Hi all
Firstly I'm a real novice but I eventually got a blog started after some months with it's first post on ThirdSphere which has it's own Autoresponder (Automation Station) and had a fair bit of trouble intergating a different pop up/opt-in form with and just felt it was quite cumbersome so I decided to move hosts to GoDaddy (already had an account with) and use Aweber/Getresponce as the autoreponder.

Bad decision! I've had nothing but trouble.

I'm stuck at the moment with the database error:
"Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/g/r/a/xxxx/html/improvegolfswingworld/wp-config.php:1) in /home/content/g/r/a/xxxx/html/improvegolfswingworld/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2808
Error establishing a database connection."

I have established that it maybe a 'white line'? or space somewhere in the wp-config.php. I have deleted the file and upload another which I have gone through with a fine tooth comb looking for any spaces, I have tried using a different text editor but to no avail.
I have also spoken to a techie via email and he pretty much said he would not touch it because GoDaddy is hosting it.
So my question is, how often can I change hosts and who is the better of them all?

Regards
CJT

Half my stuff is on Hostgator and the other half is on LunarPages

I like them both and have a lot of sites, so you need to test them out yourself.

Thanks all for your input, thats a great thead fypnlp.

I'm convinced about Host Gator, I have stumbled apond some very informative videos for Host Gator which should make it all the more easier.

I'm not sure weather this is the right thread about the wp-config.php errors but I have been lead to believe that GoDaddy may have been a big part of it all so hoping that doesn't show it's ugly head again.

If so, I only had 1 post on the blog, I may even start afresh.

    Thanks again

I recently use HostGator for my blog, but eventually expired and need to pay again for the succeeding month. It is reliable and active customer service.

I also recommend Bluehost and GoDaddy.

I work for an SEO company and all our websites are hosted by hostgator. Never had a complaint and no down times. I highly recommend hostgator. Godaddy is not bad either.

I had godaddy for 2 years and recently switched to hostgator. I am glad I made the switch because godaddy has a real messy interface and you needed a masters in godaddy control panel just to do anything. But Hostgator is easy. Also they have great tutorials on setting up your wordpress blogs. Also you can get some huge discounts on Hostgator Coupon & Rebates. Save $113 off Hostgator Coupons I think I paid something like 30-40 for a whole year of hosting after the rebates.

Hostgator is excellent. Wouldn't bother with godaddy there is only one thing their good for and its not hosting.

There's a reason every one of these threads that crops up gets about 90% of the responses saying 'HostGator'. Their support is pretty good, they're cheap, they have a really easy to use (inexpensive) reseller hosting, and if you get to that point, they offer pretty decent dedicated servers as well.
