Hi everybody,
currently working on a site that (once was PR4 - but after google changes drop to PR2)
complete site is done in .html : wondering if I change it to WP will it be getting higher ranking? or should just try with the link building.

WP is easier to manage, update but don't want to lose PR

thank you

I would jump over to Wordpress and build content. The auto ping feature makes sure you are seen and if you start (or continue) an SEO campaign, you will not loose any PR, and should even gain some of it back.

Google loves content. Wordpress makes it easy to ad more and lets your users search it.

    Have a Great Day!

I would suggest that you continue to use the static webpages and use the wordpress to continue to create new content and linking back to the static webpage.

This will increase ranking and at the same time focus on the long tail keyword.

Most definitely use WP, so much easier to manage once you get the hang of it.
