I'm trying to upload all my HTML pages from my HTML editor into my hosting account. But the thing is, how can I upload them and make them visible on the internet? The online guide is rather confusing, I could't figure out what's FTP, Webspace, stuff like that.

I don't even know how to pair it up into my domain name. can anybody please advise me? Thank you so much.

IN IE explorer type in ftp[dot]yoursite[dot]com. Then, type in your username and password, and drop your files in the folder you want. bam. Your up.

You can use an ftp software or if your hosting has uploading software, you can use that.

You can use FTP software for this. It's very easy. Download free FTP software Filizilla and install it. Open the program and connect to your hosting account. You will find your domain name in your hosting account. Now click on domain name and select particular folder in which you wan to upload your file. You can drag and drop your file or right click on folder in which you want to upload and then select upload. That's all. Once you uploaded, you can view in browser.

If you get difficulty in Filizilla then download SmartFTP. It has a 30 days trial version. If you still facing issue reply back, I will help you.

      Good Luck.

Jimborders - When you FTP your files, you'll need to put your files in a folder most likely titled "Public_HTML"

Put your HTML files in there and put your images in a folder named "images" that you'll need to create inside the Public_HTML folder.

        Good luck.

You have so many people responding(thats what i love about us warriors all very helpfull) but The best Ftp's i use are cuteftplite and filezilla like some people have already mentioned but if your new try cuteftp lite there is a trail on the program and the menus are less confusing on the ftp then filezilla if your complete noob

If your uploading your site from ftp heres a few pointers that may help
Make sure you upload all the files such as images and index.html to the html file or also Your FTP username, password, server, etc, is all the same as your main domain. Once you log in, you'll see a new folder in your public_html directory with the name of your new domain. THAT is where you upload your pages to.

It IS confusing. I was confused the first time I did it. You just have to get used to uploading things to a different directory, rather than the public_html directory.
