Child theme issue.

I've edited google home page (just an example) with inspect element and saved it with "save as..." chrome option. Then I've wrote style.css and owerited the on in google_files and uploaded whole folder with filezilla in public_html/wp-content/themes/sparkling-child

No errors everything seam to work right but problem is that when I view preview in wordpress of child theme I see only parent theme design instead of google home page.
What am I missing something?

    Did you activate that theme from Appearance > Themes.

    Also after looking at your google_files screenshot. They are not really theme files. A theme file consists of style.css and .php pages. WordPress is a CMS based on PHP. It has to have atleast an index.php in it to execute, so that the HTML of the child theme is replaced by the HTML of the parent theme.

    Try getting a skeleton theme and build out the HTML inside the index.php file.
