Wordpress Beginner help

I published my first article in WordPress. But the article is not appearing on the home page. I'm using newspaper x theme.
Do I need add any plugin to get it on homepage?

    It's because WordPress always shows the latest Post into the Homepage. You must need to set up your own homepage as a homepage if you don't want to show the latest post on the homepage.
    To setup, your Homepage go to Settings> Reading. Now click on a static page and set your desired page for homepage and blog page.

    I'm using WordPress Newspaper theme too. You will need to create a new page and set it as the front page in order for the articles to appear. The configuration can be made under Settings >> Reading.

    Here's a screenshot:


    Under Front Page Displays, you will need to check the box that says A Static Page. Then, under Front Page, choose the page that you have created earlier and click Save Changes.

    Your posts will now appear on the homepage of your WordPress website.
