Magento or OpenCart - Which is best for eCommerce website?

    I dont know. But which is better depends on what your purpose is. OpenCart is easy to use and Magento has more power.

    Magento is very powerful but also very heavy, something to consider when you choose the hosting service. Another option you might want to consider is PrestaShop, which is lighter and easier to use and customise.

    Magento & OpenCart are open sources CMS components. Magento is powerful as well heavy to use as it carries huge resources & strong hosting. On the other hand, OpenCart is a lot easier to CMS tool & has less community basis. It's great for startups that need to deliver quickly without many integrations. It provides powerful shopping cart & great tools which are far more perceptive and straight forward, so that some professional developers may find it a bit too simplistic, with not enough features to play with.
