    It's a nice step by step procedure but apart from directory submissions there are many other ways of link building like forum post, blog comments, article submission, press release submission, social bookmarking etc. You should also mention these points in your article.

    Don't forget that with the recent Wordpress upgrade, you actually have to change your privacy settings to enable search engine robots to crawl through your blog/website. So that is something I believe is worth noting.

    In addition, I think setting up any blog without the end goal being to provide quality and unique content is destined to fail. It should be stressed that money shouldn't be your biggest motivator when blogging, because truth be told, a majority of blogs will never even see one brown penny.
