I've been using frontpage for years, but have recently upgraded my pc and all of it's software. And in doing so I've only recently discovered that frontpage is not around anymore but is replaced by Expression Web.

To me it looks a lot like Dreamweaver. Is anyone here using it? Also is it better or worse than Dreamweaver?

I tried using my old frontpage, but I'm noticing that it's having compatibility problems with ie8 that I can't seem to figure out.

Expression Web 3 includes expression design as well. You can try the 60 day trial. It however is not like Frontpage anymore. If I'm not wrong frontpage users get expression web for $79.

Although I consider both Expression Web 3 and Dreamweaver on the same page there are numerous reasons why many would prefer dreamweaver.

  • I switched from Web Expression to Dreamweaver earlier this year....best switch I ever made. Microsoft is years behind Adobe.
