Problems adding MP3s and Video

Hi, I hope someone can help me on here as I'm building a website using a free hosting company and being free it doesn't have support. It's all gone swimmingly well..... except for a couple of problems in adding MP3s and Youtube videos.

MP3s - I've added three MP3s and when I open the site on my desktop computer the first will play fine but the second and third won't play at all. However when I open the site on my tablet the first won't play but the second and third play fine. What's going on?

Youtube videos - I've added the embed code to the page but the video doesn't show up, just the embed code. Do I need to do something else?

I would be grateful for any help with these issues, but in plain simple English please as I'm not an expert. (as you can probably tell!)

    Too little info for any conclusive answer. Here are possible solutions (or errors).


    Seemingly you have the codes wrong which creates problem in initiating the video files. Possibly the script is targeting some div or html element, and there are duplicates leading to only one getting activated.



    1. Don't use own mp3 files. Upload on Youtube for ease.
    2. Copy the video embed code from Youtube, and paste them as is in the HTML.
    3. If using WordPress, you can easily embed MP3 or Youtube videos without the problem you mention.

      Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply. Videos sorted now and I've taken our advice re the Mp3s. Thanks again.

    Hey,
    Online video converter and flv to mp3...they spam ads but usually let you download what you need. Only video converter has more advanced options where you can choose what section of the video to download. Try, it may help!
