Anyone here have experience using Google's Cloud Storage? And does it cost money to use it? Thanks.

    You can get 15 GB for free with Google Drive. I have used Microsoft's OneDrive in the past, they are pretty reasonable.

    If you're talking about Google Cloud (not Google Drive), there is a free tier if you want to play around and develop in it (or if your site has low traffic) but you pay as it scales. Here's the pricing: https://cloud.google.com/storage/pricing

    I use both AWS and GCP and in generally Google is a bit more user-friendly if you're new.

    Google Drive is the more consumer-facing application. It allows you to store google docs, photos, videos, general things like it. It's basically similar to dropbox or icloud.

    Google Cloud Storage is for developers to build applications. It's used to host or store files for your app / company.

    If you're not a developer, you would probably be using Google Drive.
