Where do you guys find your website graphics?

Thanks pdishman, do you know what i should type to find the type of image I posted in the link? I'm looking specifically for images like are on the homepage of the link posted in my first post.

or even something like on this homepage slider:

something that's strictly designed to be a modern/smooth "non-distracting" background image

You can get backgrounds from any of those sites - you might have to change the background to your slider though - not likely you're going to find that exact one. You can also use canva. As you already have that background on your site, simply upload it to canva and edit it how you like - if I'm understanding you correctly

Of course there are many places you can get graphics. But I think ShutterStock.com is better than the rest of the sites combined.

Finding them?

I'd rather create them with PhotoShop.


But if I need to find something I go to Pixabay.

I've started to use Canva, they have tons of pictures available.

* Life magazine's black and white collection of photos from the 1860s to 1970s is freely available online at http://images.google.com/hosted/life
* Pictures from Old Books is exactly what it sounds like: A consortium of pictures from old books, almost all of which are in the public domain. http://www.fromoldbooks.org/
