I know this question has probably been asked a billion times before, but where is everyone's favorite places to find good free wordpress themes. I did some searching through the forums and couldn't find anything good.

If there is already a thread about this, please let me know where that is.

Have you tried searching right from inside the wordpress dashboard? That is where I found them. On the sidebar it says "themes".

  I am not sure why you have not googled and found the themes.
  
  Well, actually nowadays, it has become a trend for design and graphics based bloggers to post articles like "best wordpress themes", "stunning free wp themes" , "commercial quality , but free themes", "40 free gallery wordpress themes" and etc etc.
  
  So, i think personally you can go and get free themes in these type of blog posts. Because they are better than getting free themes from some special kw based free wp themes domains.
  
  Because, the bloggers generally review it. They have the taste of blog designs. and specially they are bloggers
  
  For example, smashingmagazine website not provides list of good free themes, but also, they provide free themes themselves.
  
  So, google for such things, and dont stop at wp name domain based sites.

You can find wordpress themes on wordpress.org. Besides it, put "free wordpress theme" keyword in all major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. Definitely your problem will be solved.

Smashing Mag has some free themes of their own as well, just take a look at their freebies section Freebies - Smashing Magazine

Then if you still can't find something good search sites that have premium themes, most give one or two away like woothemes: WooThemes|Archive|Free

Thanks for all your replies. I did do a google search. I just wanted hear what people on here had to say on the subject. Asking others who have already done the research is a lot more efficient and useful than pouring through dozens of google results.

There are many resources for wordpress themes. However, searching from the wordpress.org for the themes is a good idea.
