This is probably a dumb question but I have to ask it. Can I take the page source of a text & images page and put in on another page & reproduce it? In other words take a page source, paste in a page & make it become the original page? I really don't have a clue of what I'm trying to get across but hopefully someone will take pity on me & try to answer my question.

    Yes, you can.

You just need to be careful about images. If your new page is in a different directory it may not link back to your image properly unless it is hosted externally.

Yes.... Designers Cut N Paste code all the time. You can do this for parts of a page or the entire page. If you want to copy a page and just change a few things on it, rather than open it in source view, just copy the file and paste in the same dir and give it a different name. Then open it in an editor and make the changes that you want to it.

This is how designers build templates for sites. They make a master page and then you can just change the content areas of the page to put whatever you want into them without changes to the other parts like Banners at the top and footers.

    have a Great Day!

You need to take care of file locations. If the directory is relative then its even easier.

Hyperlinking images will be a problem, as they normally use something like "../images/filename.jpg" - so if placed into another directory, the images won't show and you'll need to edit the locations.

Yes, but you'll need to be aware of any linked CSS files. If you just C & P the HTML page without the referenced style sheets, it'll look broken and/or ugly.
